Hannah is from Wales, in the United Kingdom. She obtained a Master’s degree in English Literature in 2017, with her thesis focus on spoken and written language and related barriers to communication. She then obtained a Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) in 2024. Her main focus during this qualification was to apply the theory of overcoming communication barriers in the practical school setting. Hannah loves working with the youngest students and learning alongside them through play and discovery. She has specific experience in working with children with additional learning needs, reading difficulties and English as a second language.

Hannah has worked with children for the past 8 years, teaching both in the United Kingdom and most recently, at a renowned bilingual school in Japan. She has completed training in Outdoor Education (forest schools) run by British expert, Cath Delve, and phonics training under multiple schemes such as Read Write Ink, developed by Ruth Miskin.

Hannah believes that education should be meaningful, personalised and consistent to ensure that every student is able to thrive on their own individual learning path. She encourages students to focus on their confidence, curiosity and willingness to make mistakes to support their emotional wellbeing alongside their academic development.
