Small Class Size
BeeMee has a British class system with 1:4、1:5 teacher-student ratio. Students get more personal attention, more speaking and presentation opportunities, personalized teaching and mentoring to enhance classroom efficiency.
Inquiry-based Learning
Passion for learning is the foundation of active inquiry. Engaging and integrating a wide range of curriculum content and themes based on students' interests, the school provides practices and experiences that go beyond the classroom, with inquiry-based activities on a multiculturally-integrated campus, fieldwork outside the school, and cycles of exploration through practice, in-depth learning and reflection, to become masters of learning.
PBL Project-Based Learning
At BeeMee, by integrating the project-based thinking of discovering and solving problems into regular learning, students can actively participate in the school's project-based activities to cultivate their teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Expansion and Deepening of Textbook Content Scope
In addition to meeting national curriculum requirements, project-based learning, inquiry based teaching methods, and interdisciplinary learning are used to expand students' integration of diverse domain knowledge at a macro level, and to explore in detail and depth at a micro level to understand the origins of causality.
Differentiated Teaching
BeeMee respects the differences and individuality of students, and tailors its teaching to the needs of students in daily lessons, reading and inquiry activities, etc. It provides customised teaching within the framework system of the school's curriculum and carries out small group/stratified teaching to tailor its teaching to the needs of students at different levels, so that students at different levels can find the most suitable path for their development.
House system
BeeMee adheres to the British House System tradition, breaking away from a traditional framework that is strictly divided by grade, and integrating students of all grades into one house. Currently, there are four major houses, Curie, Einstein, Newton, and Tu Youyou, each with its own unique identity and emblem. Each house is assigned a foreign teacher as the House Leader to guide students to help each other and cooperate to complete various tasks. The house system also allocates all teaching staff to their respective houses, a clever system that builds solid support for students' comprehensive development, helping them to face challenges in many fields.
Mentorship
Considering the comprehensive development of students, BeeMee has established a mentoring system. At the school level, there are psychological mentors, career planning and college admission mentors; at the class level, there are individual class mentors, language mentors, and behavioral mentors (class teachers). Each student enjoys "N-to-1" VVIP services. Each mentor will deeply understand their students and provide one-on-one comprehensive care for their humanistic and intellectual needs, as well as holistic planning and guidance for additional academic or personal development, covering aspects such as academics, psychology, life, social interactions, and college admissions.
Diversified Assessment
The school has faithfully implemented the national "New Curriculum" guidelines for student assessment and introduced the International Baccalaureate (IB) assessment strategy, which combines process and summative assessment. Students are made aware of the assessment rules and standards before each inquiry unit or project, so that each student is clear about their goals and objectives, and assessment is truly used to promote students' learning and growth.
The Secondary School tage is committed to providing students with a platform and evaluation system suitable for individual development, aiming to cultivate innovative talents with comprehensive development through rich and professional quality courses as carriers, developing academic, outdoor exploration, social practice, learning reflection and other paths, combined with professional and personalized guidance and evaluation.
Multi-dimensional Parent-School Communication
Schools and families have established various channels of communication, such as dual-class teacher systems, PTA Parent Committees, parent workshops, and three-way conference discussions, to ensure that communication is convenient, smooth, and timely. This promotes the formation of a positive and effective collaborative relationship between home and school, maximizing the impact of education and achieving a true integration of students, parents, and schools.
